Born and raised in Toronto, @spinbangers brings an eclectic upbringing straight into her work behind the decks. With a carribean-diasporic heritage and a background in multidisciplinary arts, her DJ sets pull from everywhere she’s been culturally, creatively and sonically.
She blends global club rhythms, left‑field textures and familiar touchpoints in a way that feels both thoughtful and instinctive. Her sets are inspired by the musical theory behind ‘Tarab’. An Arabic word for when the music, the artist and the audience are in a cosmic, flow state together. Spin Bangers loves the art of building momentum, shifting moods and keeping crowds locked in and dancing without ever losing her own voice.
