Commission is an agile creative brand service based in South East London. Since 2013 our studio has established itself as specialists in visual identity creation, development, and reinvention. We predominantly work across the fashion and luxury industries for some of the most elite brands in the world, both established and emerging.

The returning sun gives an excuse to revisit one of our favorite partnerships: Great Jones, the bold and joyful cookware brand bringing serious style back to the kitchen.
Named in honor of legendary editor Judith Jones, who published Julia Child and James Beard, and NYC’s iconic Great Jones Street, this brand is all about celebrating the warmth and creativity of cooking at home.
With a vibrant visual language designed by Pentagram, Great Jones stood out on shelves — but their packaging needed to keep up. A one-size-fits-all box wasn’t cutting it (leading to product damage during shipping, wasted space, and increased shipping costs). That’s where we stepped in.
Together, we reimagined the packaging system to protect the goods better, optimize space, and match the brand’s playful spirit - delivering a premium unboxing experience.
Because great design deserves packaging that works just as hard. We couldn’t resist but to share the whole identity program done by Pentagram, great work everyone! The branding is complemented by illustrations of food by @emmadibbenillustrates and hand-drawn instructions by @bymariandrew . Designed by @pentagramdesign and @emilyoberman team
