On his debut Elastics release, co-founder INGI presents persona non grata - the label’s first three-track EP.
Inspired by his recent transition to improvisational, hardware-focused production, INGI delivers two tracks that journey between the bright and dark corners of experimental club music. This release marks the start of a series of live shows that will be taking place across the year.
persona non grata is a moody, sub-rattling roller that spirals through vocal fragments and glitchy percussion with driving force. In their duality, they both pay tribute to the blue hours of night turning into morning.

We’re gonna be opening up the room tonight for a group of really brilliant arists 💙💙 Manami and Beatrice are shaping a new way forward for modern grooving bass music. INGI has been working on this live set for well over a year now, and seeing his sound develop as it come to life has been inspiring. And we first met Wordcolour in this very club, through which their mind-melting remix came to life.
We’ll be getting things in motion - expect weirdo electronica with lots of dubbed out grooves, teeing up what we think will be a really super party

Following a string of standout releases Laspsus Records @lapsus_barcelona and Houndstooth @houndstoothlbl , we’re delighted to welcome Wordcolour to the label with their remix of ‘persona non grata’ - out this Friday! Wordcolour’s music has a distinctly spectral and psychedelic signature. His four-part series ‘Ratios’ makes use of a rich musical language - playfully adventuring around the heavier corners of modern club music, from halftime to UK bass. Through their label TiHKAL @tihkal.label they’re exploring deeper and more meditative channels of techno and DnB - a tone resonant on their forthcoming remix.
We first met Nick at Ormside last year and can’t wait to celebrate the release of this EP with them on Saturday where they’ll be closing out the night.

A final boss DJ who needs little introduction; those who know @manamii.b will be familiar with her high-impact / maximum release take to DJing.
She’s an artist whose work has spans across genres and formats — from her latest downtempo piano recordings, to her full throttle UK bass workouts. It’s been our pleasure seeing her sound and style develop the years, with her latest releases collaboration with Alberta Balsam @albertabalsam on @latenightshopper being testament to her experimental approach to dub-weighted soundscapes.

Beyond their conception, genres rarely stick to a formula - sounds and influences mix and merge, often resulting in something new entirely.
Beatrice M. is producer, DJ, and founder of Bait - a record label which, in the last three years, has rooted its place within the resurgence of modern dubstep and bass music.
Alongside artists like Trois-Quarts Taxi System, Sub Basics, and Christian Coiffure, Beatrice has helped push a dubstep-tech hybrid that is driving, tactile, and weighty. With their own productions on Tectonic, Rinse, and CCL’s Subglow, Beatrice M. makes music is fast moving, grooving, and sub-rattling.
