In May 2024, I began working on a personal photography project inspired by the spirit of the Olympics. This time, Paris 2024. The Olympics has always been special to me; one of my earliest memories of it was hearing about Kanu Nwankwo and the iconic Atlanta ‘96 victory.
As a kid, I was very fascinated by how the Games became more than just competition. I think they embody peace, community, strength in friendship, and even fashion. So, when I decided to bring this project to life, I drew inspiration from the aesthetics of the 70s, 80s, and 90s
With the help of my model friends, makeup artists, and fashion stylists, we completed the project right in time for the opening of Paris 2024.
