Last year, ART X LAGOS collaborated with the GIDA team to edit and curate a book commemorating ten years of West Africa’s premier art fair. The project examines the past, reflects on the present, and envisions the future.
To achieve this, we invited previous ART X PRIZE winners to share their visions of the past, present, and future in their distinct styles, in response to the 2025 ART X LAGOS theme: ‘Imagining Otherwise, No Matter the Tide.’ These were used as double-page visual interludes between chapters, honouring their connection to the fair as former prize winners.
