"Beauty isn’t a fixed point for me — it’s almost like a pulse,” is how London-based make-up artist @saint_maretto describes their constantly shifting, deeply queer beauty practice.
It’s a language shaped by pigment, texture and gesture — from butter-yellow lips and lilac lashes to scribbled faces and cybersigil brows — where make-up becomes a tool of self-realisation, coded resistance and queer expression rather than a single ‘look’. This perspective comes from a lifelong fascination with colour and form, rooted in painting and sharpened through community, collaboration and the club kids of Opia raves.
