Our Canoe print, first introduced in 2015 as part of the Etched Journey collection, was inspired by the everyday resilience and movement of fishermen in Lagos—particularly the powerful image of a fisherman rowing his canoe beneath the Third Mainland Bridge at sunset. The piece originally debuted at Pitti Uomo in Florence, marking an important moment in the brand’s storytelling.
For this season, the motif is reintroduced through crochet craftsmanship, evolving into versatile apron pieces that can be styled in multiple ways, as well as hand-woven cardigans that reinterpret the original narrative through texture and artisanal technique.

Featuring the superstylish talents @akinfaminu and @vineolugu

For our first chapter, we are honoured to collaborate with two individuals whose presence, intellect, and style continue to shape culture with intention.
In Akin and Vine, we see the layered expression that defines Orange Culture; thoughtful, fluid, and culturally grounded.
Strength in softness.
Structure in vulnerability.
Orange Culture on bodies that understand nuance.
On those unafraid of beauty.
