Throwing it back to the 2nd and last day of the Beyond The Basics editorial upgrade class💫 What made the day more fulfilling was watching each student take everything they had learned from Day 1 and Day 2 and bring it to life on their individual models. From structure to technique, creativity to precision, everyone delivered a unique editorial look that reflected their personal style and understanding of the craft. Since editorial looks are designed with visual storytelling in mind, I made sure that each student’s work was professionally photographed. It was important to me that they walked away not just with new knowledge, but with stunning images that showcased their growth and creativity. It was inspiring to see how much bold expression and artistic refinement came through in just two days. Watching the students step out of their comfort zones and produce work that was both creative and expressive was truly the highlight of the day for me. This is what Beyond the Basics is all about. Refining your artistry while embracing the freedom to create without limits! A huge thank you to everyone who made this class possible. One Month Later and I’m still in awe!🥹 Exactly this time last month, I held my very first editorial class; Beyond The Basics Editorial Upgrade Class, a dream that once felt impossible. What began as an idea filled with fear, uncertainty, and hope turned into one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career. I’m still overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who showed up, supported, and trusted me. That class wasn’t just about technique, it was about growth, boldness, and stepping into a new level. Day 1 focused on the heart of editorial; blending theory with hands-on and practical learning. It was important that participants saw editorial techniques in action, not just virtual. With two incredible models, I demonstrated distinct editorial looks that allowed us explore versatility, creative direction, and how to tailor bold concepts to different, features, moods and so much more. It was hands-on, high-energy, and packed with knowledge that went far beyond surface glam. What once seemed out of reach became a beautiful reality. And now, I get to impact and share editorial makeup knowledge in ways I never imagined; deeply, freely, and creatively. To everyone who believed, showed up, supported, and trusted me: THANK YOU!
