✨✨✨ MADRE SELVA ✨✨✨ Atlanta, meet @madreselvaatl , a brand-new Peruvian restaurant that opened just last week in @uptownatlanta , nestled in the Lindbergh/Buckhead area. The food menu is masterfully curated by @carlosenriquezchef , while @alexander_holender brings his expertise to the cocktail menu. They are currently in the soft opening phase and will be launching the full menu beginning of next year. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a unique hand-cleansing ritual that sets the tone for the experience. The interior is stunning, featuring a chic bar and Atlanta’s first ceviche bar, all set against warm terracotta-toned walls. A captivating mural nearby celebrates the rich culture and beauty of Peru. The cocktails are a true highlight! Try the Echoes of Chavin, a smoky and flavorful masterpiece served over an ice cube shaped like a Chavin stone head. Another must-try is the Forest Infusion, a gin-based drink served in a fascinating separatory funnel. And, of course, you can never go wrong with the classic Peruvian Pisco Sour! The food menu shines with an impressive selection of ceviches and tiraditos. While the Classic Ceviche is a solid option, I highly recommend the Ceviche Carretillero, a delicious mix of fresh fish, shrimp, and crispy fried calamari. Another highlight is the Tuna Tiradito, featuring a refreshing passion fruit Leche de Tigre. Excitingly, a Ceviche Sampler will soon be added to the menu, offering three varieties to try. For my entrée, I opted for the Lomo Saltado, a savory steak dish served with perfectly cooked white rice! ✨✨✨ LA FRITERIE POP-UP AT BAR BLANC ✨✨✨ If your night ends at @barblancatlanta , you’re doing it right. The West Midtown Steak Friterie just launched a Late Night Menu that runs every Friday and Saturday from 10 PM to midnight, and it’s all about elevated comfort food. There are only a handful of items on the menu, but the star of the show is the “Black Label” Hot Dog, sandwiched in a perfectly toasted bun and dressed up with relish, Dijon, and a side of crispy onion rings. It’s the perfect mix of classic and cool. Then there are the frites, which are honestly a reason to visit on their own. Take your pick from Black Truffle Parmesan, Curry Ketchup, Aioli Cheddar, or the Raclette, where warm cheese is poured right at your table. For dessert, they’re leaning into pure nostalgia with an Orange Creamsicle Push Pop and a cozy Apple Pie that hits all the fall feels. 🏝️🏝️🏝️ FLORIDAMAN - NEW BAR ON THE BELTLINE🏝️🏝️🏝️ Introducing Floridaman, the latest gem on the Atlanta Beltline! 😍 This Gulf Coast-themed bar above @breakerbreaker_atl is now open to the public. Inspired by coastal houseboats, the decor here includes bamboo furniture, lush tropical plants, and vibrant neon lights. The menu features favorite items from Breaker Breaker’s offerings, plus a few exciting new additions. I ordered the Vaya Con Dios, their take on the spicy margarita, and it had a nice kick to it! ✨✨✨ FIFA WORLD CUP TROPHY TOUR BY COCA-COLA ✨✨✨ The FIFA World Cup @trophytour by Coca-Cola stopped in Atlanta yesterday, giving fans the opportunity to see one of the most iconic trophies in sports ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026. At the @thdbackyard , visitors can learn about the history of the World Cup Trophy, enjoy an exclusive Coca-Cola World Cup can, and even take a photo with the trophy itself. A great experience for football fans and a reminder that the countdown to the tournament is officially on 👏🏻 Beyond the trophy experience, there was also a Fan Mart where attendees could unlock exclusive collectibles by completing different activities. Fans also enjoyed activations from @powerade_us , including an inflatable human foosball setup, an interactive mosaic mural by @homedepot , and more! #ad ✨✨✨ HAPPY HOUR AT CARRABBA’S ITALIAN GRILL ✨✨✨ Stopped by @carrabbas for Happy Hour and it was a solid way to unwind after the day. It’s the perfect spot for catching up with friends and easing into the evening, especially during that 4 to 6 PM window when the atmosphere felt relaxed but still social. We ordered a mix of drinks and a few shareable bites to get a feel for the menu. Happy Hour includes food and drinks starting at $5, which makes it easy to try a couple of options without overthinking it. Everything came out quickly and was good for sharing, which made the whole experience feel easy and low key. Some of our favorites were the Mezzaluna Fritte and Shrimp Focaccia Bites. ✨✨✨ FUDO ✨✨✨ Just outside Atlanta in Chamblee, @fudoatl has become my favorite spot when I am craving sushi rolls. The menu covers a little bit of everything with small plates, sashimi, hand rolls, donburi, and tempura, but the signature rolls are really what keep me coming back. They have an entire page dedicated to specialty rolls with close to 50 different options, so there is always something new to try alongside the ones I already know I love. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable which makes it an easy place to return to again and again. Definitely one of my go to sushi spots around Atlanta when I want a reliable dinner with a lot of variety. ✨✨✨ SPICE ATLANTA ✨✨✨ @spice.atl opened last week in Midtown Atlanta, bringing its global fusion dining experience to the city. The concept comes from @1221.hospitality and first launched in Charlotte. The menu includes appetizers, a raw bar, and signature sushi rolls that are easy to share. We started with Hamachi Crudo and Bang Bang Shrimp, then tried the Hamiri Roll, and ended with Crab Fried Rice, which was the standout dish of the meal. The cocktail list features Asian inspired ingredients and flavor profiles. Our favorites included the Thavma, Smoke, Mirrors, and Mezcal, Everything Nice, and the Freda Fresca. ✨✨✨ IKARA ✨✨✨ Atlanta’s Indian dining scene has a new addition with @ikararestaurant , an upscale restaurant located inside the Twelve Midtown Hotel at @atlanticstation . The menu pulls from different regions across India, focusing on traditional techniques and recipes that have been passed down over time, keeping things rooted without overcomplicating them. The cocktail menu curated by Arvind Poojari, ffers a solid mix depending on what you’re in the mood for. We went with Chennai Central (my favorite drink!), Aamras Ritu, and Kohra. If you prefer something more spirit-forward, The Last Local Home and Pehli Baarish are good options. Started with the Assorted Papad Platter with chutneys, Murg Malai Kebab, Pomfret Rava Fry, and Pepper Chicken Fry. For mains, we had Roomali Roti, Garlic Naan, Paneer Kulchan, and Mutton Dum Pukht Biryani (a must order here)! Started with the Kale + Goat Cheese Salad. Fresh, simple, and a good reset in the middle of the day. Then the Grilled Steak Panzanella Salad, a bit more filling but still balanced and the steak was perfectly cooked to your preference. Finished with the Agnolotti Al Pomodoro. ✨✨✨ KINFOLK ✨✨✨ @kinfolkatl is an underground supper club in Atlanta led by Chef @alexhoch , an Atlanta native who returned after spending several years in SF working at the 2-Michelin restaurant, Lazy Bear. The dinner is centered around a 10-course tasting menu featuring locally and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, which is evident in how cohesive the entire experience feels from start to finish. Chef Alex presents each course himself, making the evening feel more personal and intentional. We started with a clarified mezcal cocktail that was smooth, balanced, and one of those drinks you wish you could have again immediately. A glass of bubbly followed to ease into the first courses. It is also BYOB, which adds another layer depending on what everyone brings to the table. There is something about not knowing where you are going that makes the experience feel different as the location is only revealed the day before. There was an impressive level of detail in each dish, especially in the plating, and every course delivered on flavor. Dinner costs $175 per person. ✨✨✨ RUMI’S KITCHEN ✨✨✨ Visited the newly renovated Rumi’s Kitchen in Sandy Springs and really enjoyed how the space has evolved. It feels updated and polished while still keeping the signature elements people love, like the blue tiled open kitchen and warm, inviting dining areas. This flagship location originally opened in 2006, moved in 2012, and has now been thoughtfully refreshed for 2026. We started with the Hummus topped with Roasted Crimini and Oyster Mushrooms, along with the Kibbeh Nayyeh, a lamb and bulgur tartare. The Shirazi salad brought a bright, refreshing contrast to the table. For entrées, we went with the grilled shrimp, Soltani kabob, and Chicken Barg. Each dish was well executed, with clean and balanced flavors. To finish, we had the Burnt Honey Pistachio Cake and the Majoon Toffee Cake, both indulgent yet not overly heavy.
