I don't even know what to say...The Chai Box started in my kitchen teaching my boys how to make Chai because I wanted to share those special Chai time moments with them and create beautiful memories as they grew up. If you told me back in December 2016, that our family Chai recipe would go VIRAL, I am sure that itself would only happen in a dream! Seeing our little Chai company grow alongside my boys and my husband has been unreal. I still remember my boys stickering bags in between their soccer games and helping me package orders on the weekends. They have been involved in every step of the way and seeing them take pride in working in our family business, makes this mama's heart prouder. My hubby is the master brewer (Chemical Engineer by trade - Go GT!) has worked tirelessly on Costco production. We have an amazing team at TCB that consist of family, friends and neighbors who make it ALL possible. We had 3 months to prep of our Costco PO. The learning curve was huge! You cannot just Google how to get ready for a Costco order. Believe me we tried! Each business is different and so are the requirements. We had to learn EVERYTHING from Costco specific packaging, designing trays, new bottles, to pallet weight/height requirements and not to mention securing inventory for spices and tea. When I say our team worked around the clock to make this happen, I mean that literally! The initial pitch/conversation with Costco buyers happened in 3 different time zones. I was in India, Zahra (our sales/ marketing director- she's so much more than that. She's our family) and the buyers in California. The grind started immediately followed by Ethan (my oldest son) and I visiting Costco LA office. We wanted the buyers to taste our Chai because we knew once they tried it, they will know how it is different from what's currently in the market. We made both iced Chai (with Kirkland milk of course) and Ethan made hot chai on the stovetop in their test kitchen. The rest is sweet history! @costco has given us a platform to introduce our Chai to so many chai lovers. So grateful for @kristinlwolfe who has shared our story so beautifully! Thank you for all the Love 💕🙏 #chai #viral
