We’re delighted to have been appointed to design and deliver a new interpretation scheme for the Dry Garden at RHS Hyde Hall.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary next year, the garden remains a remarkable example of resilient planting and sustainable horticulture. Aside from watering immediately after planting, the garden has never been irrigated - making it an extraordinary long-term experiment in drought-tolerant design and planting.
We’re excited to help tell the story of the garden and why it feels more relevant now than ever.

We’ve been creating a new interpretive installation for Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew at Wakehurst for the upcoming exhibition of sculptures by Henry Moore — the largest ever exhibition of his work.
The installation includes five interpretation units with integrated seating outside Wakehurst Mansion, alongside three further pieces located within the grounds, where works by Rana Begum, Rafael Pérez Evans and Paloma Varga Weisz are also situated.
Our response takes the form of an abstracted anamorphic portrait of Moore — part interpretation, part sculptural intervention.
These images show a 1:10 scale studio maquette developed as part of the design process.
The exhibition opens 4 June.

Illustration is increasingly at the heart of what we do—whether it’s for graphics or animation. No matter where it ends up, it always begins the same way: with a pencil and paper. For me, that first mark connects back to my Fine Art training... and even further, to childhood.
I combine traditional and digital techniques. Often, scanning in ink marks, pencil lines or bits of collage made in the studio to create custom digital brushes. It’s a hands-on, layered approach that helps keep the work personal.
This particular animation was created for the Chapel at Kew Wakehurst. It’s made from 16 drawings, gently animated by our long-time collaborator Paul Ashby and projected 4m high onto the chapel wall. It’s part of the Nature Unlocked project—carrying an important message, but also designed to quietly enhance the atmosphere of the space.

We’re excited to share our latest interpretation project at Kew Wakehurst, set within the beautifully restored Mansion.
In the Chapel—formerly home to the original Millennium Seed Bank—we bring the story of this groundbreaking initiative to life through a sculptural 3D installation and a fully immersive illustrated projection.
Next door in the Billiard Room, visitors can explore how the Wakehurst landscape evolved and why Kew chose it as the site for their wild botanic garden. This story unfolds via an interactive projection, mapped onto a 3D model of the site embedded in a real billiard table.
All elements of the 3D, graphic design, illustration, and animation were created in-house.
A huge thank you to the brilliant team @wakehurst_kew for their close collaboration throughout the design process, and to our talented partners @theworkhausprojects - exhibition build, @fusionlx - AV hardware, @mahers_modelmakers - landscape model, @quarmbycolourleeds - graphics production.

We’ve been working with the @britishmusem to develop two touring exhibitions, Gladiators of Britain - yes there were Gladiators here - and Ancient Sudan. Gladiators of Britain is a Partnership Exhibition with Colchester and Ipswich Museums. It has been a great experience working on such a genuinely collaborative project and being part of the large team that delivered the exhibition. From a design point of view, we got very hands-on, creating a series of illustrations inspired by the depictions of gladiators and animals that decorate the vases, lamps, coins and other objects on display. In addition to the exhibition design, we created the exhibition brand and marketing materials, all featuring objects and our illustrations. Gladiators of Britain opened on the 26th of January at Dorchester Museum and Art Gallery, and tours to Northampton, Chester and Carlisle over the next 18 months. #exhibition #exhibition_design #museum #museumdesign #gladiators
It’s always hard to take everything in at private views, so went back today for a second viewing of Cloister Stone, a duo show of work by @matildasuttonart and Gabriel Kidd @pipelinecontemporary . Really stunning work 🔥🔥🔥 and great gallery space. The show is on until 22nd February. Images of @matildasuttonart work. #fineart #painting #drawing #contemporaryart #installationart
My lovely Mum, Sheila, who made a warm, safe home for my brother and I, died on 2nd October.
She was a modest, non-materialistic person. Quietly mischievous, with a bit of a rebel soul. Proudly Irish, she’d definitely kissed the blarney stone - we talked a lot when I was a teenager. And those talks were foundational for me. This photo, taken by my Dad around 1962, captures her spirit well.
Can’t Sleep, new works by @maxinesutton_art opens tomorrow @projects_kavelrafferty . PV 5-7pm. Had a sneak peak at the hung show yesterday and work looks amazing 🔥🔥🔥. Lovey gallery space too. The show is on until 17th November.
