Think groovy, hypnotic basslines, lush melodic layers, and a pace that pulls you in. • We are very excited to announce @ouhana.music will be joining us and bringing a LIVE downtempo set, followed by an extended DJ club set. • Ouhana (Berlin) is a ‘slow techno’ and downtempo producer who has been turning heads at underground parties and festivals across Europe. Raised around music from birth (his father was an opera singer), Ouhana crafts sets that move fluidly between pitched-down tech house, melodic techno, indie dance, and dark disco - all tied together by his signature: groovy, dark basslines dressed in complex, surprising arrangements. "I'm a tiny little human, and I need your touch." New set recording up, see link in bio. I only played 2 sets in my 4 months overseas. This is the only one I recorded. Four enchanted hours inside the Moroccan Lounge at a château in France, on a rainy Monday in late September 2025. Following on from @evakeiffenheim 's gorgeous journey inside the dovecote at midnight. A journey of the heart and soul, with many twists and turns through genres and moods I've never touched before while DJing. Ecstatic peaks and dreamy valleys. Oceanic vastness and confined rhythms. Melting, decomposing, reassembling. Constantly arriving. Stillness in motion. Take this key. @auerworld Festival 2025 in Germany was a special one - it was the first time I played to a German festival crowd, and the first time I was at a festival with family. It meant the world to me to see my siblings, my 2 year old nephew, my brother-in-law, my step-dad, my mum and my dad coming together and dancing for my sunset set. 🥰 By the end of my set there was quite the crowd, and they absolutely loved the last two tracks by kiwi legends @sanoimusic , @beaconbloom and @ed.zuke . What a treat to be surrounded by such talented friends and musicians in Aotearoa and to be able to share their craft with the world. I'm immensely grateful for the wide web of connections that brought me to this point. Friends who feel like family all over Aotearoa, especially my awesome community in Ōtautahi Christchurch - I miss you all. My family in Germany, who I haven't seen in two years and who put up with me staying with them again for the last two weeks, mostly with my head deep down in work connected to bringing an interactive art piece to Burning Man. The joy of shared meals, singing and dancing together with family at two small festivals. The patience and understanding from friends in different parts of Germany who know I'm in the country but who I don't have capacity to meet while I'm here this time - I'll be back sooner, not in another 2 years, I promise. It's been quite the serendipitous, aligned journey so far since I left Aotearoa for winter, a lot of time just spent in flow, and I'm excited for where it takes me next. I know I'll be grateful to be home once I return to Ōtautahi in October. For now, I remain grateful to be on the road and following unexpected twists and turn after another. 🍃 Thanks for all the birthday messages that reached me in lots of different ways, everyone. 🌟 New set recording up: NZ Spirit North 2025 🫖 Link in bio Friday night in the Tea Temple at the last ever NZ Spirit Festival was such a delight - the most present, engaging and supportive crowd I've had a in a long time, turning the Tea Temple tent into quite the portal indeed! I love a good intimate dancefloor, there's a certain energy to it you don't get on bigger dancefloors. So I thoroughly enjoyed being in the Tea Temple both as a dancer and DJM! ✨ I'd never been to the North Island edition of NZ Spirit until this one, just to the three South Island ones, and at all of them I came away with a replenished cup, a more open heart and new and deepened connections. 🍵💕 This one was no different, even though I could only stay for half of it. It was a pleasure and privilege to be invited to come up from CHCH for this one, I had such a great time. I've got a busy two weeks up ahead for DJing, which is exciting! I haven't played much this summer, and now the saying "when it rains, it pours" manifests quite strongly. 🍃 My upcoming gigs: - 21/3 at @thedirtyland.chch from 6.30-8.30pm, playing melodic background tunes for Friday night drinks and bites in town. Perfect way to start the night before heading to Yurt Party on New Regent Street afterwards! - 22/3 an outdoor ecstatic dance in the morning on South Brighton Beach, together with @adventure_yogi_nz who will be lightly facilitating this special edition of Dance Temple - 22/3 at @the.mud.bar for a collab gig of @sunsetnewzealand and @stadtmusik_otautahi - I'm playing 10-11.30pm. This event is meant to bring some of the intentional night life culture we know and love from @_xchc into the city center, and will be the first of many. - 28/3 I'm flying up to Auckland for the final @nz.spirit festival, playing a 1.5h organic, melodic house and downtempo set in the Tea Temple there - 29/3 back in CHCH I'll be playing some tunes at a friend's 40th I'd love to see some familiar faces at one of my upcoming gigs! Oh Relish, my love! 🥰  I've got a wee souvenir to share with you: my Chill Lounge / Delicious Kitchen set from Friday night, 10pm-12am, just before the stunning live harp set from @nourish.sound (aka @paigejulia.music and @dubzle ). It was such a pleasure to try something new musically, with very chill vibes and branching out into different genres other than House.  Link in bio 🔗 My cup remains expanded and full after 5 days at Korimako - the beautiful piece of land in South Canterbury. I've had a bit of a challenging time actually during the festival, but my integration/decompression has turned the experience into a very fulfilling one in hindsight. My afterglow kept on growing day by day since the festival. 💗 One of my absoulte highlights was seeing so many friends from all over Aotearoa blossom and shine, especially first time Relish-ers. Let's keep spreading the love and magic in the real world! 💕✨ Many thanks to everyone involved in all the little and big ways - they were all meaningful in their own way and contribute to the holistic co-creative magic that is Relish. Specific kudos goes to Flair for booking me, Gerti and Christa for looking after me as artist liaisons, and Frank for running such a yum chill stage. Come join us for a morning dance, and perhaps a swim post boogie! ________________ Dance Temple is a freeform movement journey: a gently guided ecstatic dance experience. It is a co-created space for our community, where all bodies are welcome. The journey is gently facilitated and curated by our team, with an epic live DJ to get us grooving. We dance for connection, we dance to play, we dance to be free. We dance to feel, to move with all aspects of ourselves, welcoming the waves and all. We dance to our joy and to our sorrow. We dance to come home. We know that music and movement are powerful portals to expression, it is medicine for our bodies and souls. This space is our temple - we show up as we are, in all our perfect imperfections. We dance sober, silently (without words) and shoeless.
