With the weather being as nice as it was it was great to get out with a group from @profphotogcolorado for a social photo walk in Boulder.

Hard to believe, but it’s been five full years of adventures in flight! It all started with a little “mission” courtesy of Jamie, Sancho, and Matt. That campout and hike up Mt Plenty forever changed the trajectory of my life! Thank you! I made a little book to commemorate the incredible memories, inspiring friends, and stunning locations over these last 5 years. 🌌 PORTAL ACTIVATED 🌌 Still resonating from this unforgettable night at @meow__wolf Denver, the final @liquidbloom event in the city for 2025. So many friends and soul fam gathered from across the country, many fresh from @psychedelicscience , to converge at @convergencestation and drop into the field. A global web of psychonauts, artists, and seekers came together inside the surreal dreamscape of the Numina exhibit for a full-spectrum sonic ceremony. I played after the always heart-opening @eastforest , and just before house master @oonadahl , whose closing set brought deep groove and elevation. My own offering moved from ambient and downtempo into bass, tribal midtempo, drum & bass, and ecstatic organic house, a journey of rhythm and resonance. A live surprise from my soul brother @porangui added soul-stirring vocals, and a closing invocation from @babaramdass gently returned the spaceship to Earth. I had the great fortune of touring @diabeaconny with two friends and fellow artists last summer. As we toured through the immense space, several pieces caught my eye. This was one of them. The whole room glowed with a light pink effervescence, and the gorgeous contrasts of tropical blues reflected and tinted the light in a magnificent way. The artist Larry Bell specializes in playing with light, color, and shapes, through the medium of glass, and for the first time installed his piece on a brightly colored base — this pink carpet. The child in me wanted nothing more than to wander through the mazelike structure, but alas, we were restricted to viewing it from just off the edge of the carpet. All She Wants To Do Is Climb! But the little signs said otherwise. She had been here the year before, but this time there were little signs dotting the ground which said “No Climbing”. Who could resist though? This looked like a massive version of those little climbing domes we used to play around on as kids. It was just too tempting. Instead of clambering up the sides, we opted for the more pedestrian route and walked through the front door into the museum that now occupies the heart of the Biosphère. As this was actually the day after the big Aurora light show up north — yes, the one I slept through — it was good to be inspired by something a bit more terrestrial and soak in some glorious sunshine along the way. All the while planning a possible escape from the city later that evening to look back up into the heavens with high but tempered hopes that we’d catch the Auroras. #montrealstory #photography #innerchild #play #voigtlanderism #nikonz7
