I came across this stretch of blooms and immediately saw the path running through the middle of it. The flowers were stacked on both sides, creating depth and giving the scene a natural frame. I used flash to give a pop of light onto the face, and balanced it with the ambient lighting.
So I placed her right where the space opened up and let the location do what it was already doing. I used my 50mm f/1.8 lens so that I could capture my subject in the frame and so that I could really capture the perspective of the wall of flowers.
Some locations are built for photographs. You just have to recognize them when you see them.
