When combined with a range of storytelling techniques it provides a powerful strategy which is guaranteed to have a positive impact on achieving communication which resonates. • This session will cover: - Why nerves are your best friend - What personal qualities to amplify - Where TED/TEDx gets it right / wrong - Which body language techniques resonate - How to engage the audience from passive listeners to active participants • MEET DK: A seasoned Speaker Coach who has worked with CEO’s, senior executives plus a random ex-All Black, Dame and Olympian thrown into the mix. DK delivers ‘purposeful storytelling’ masterclasses to leadership groups and is featured on ted.com with a TEDx talk that has reached well over a million views plus has spoken on five continents to audiences large & small for over 20 years and is author of Speaking With Purpose: A guide to delivering impressive presentations! DK is also a Creative Producer who ‘crafts delicious learning experiences’ online, in-studio or in-person. Every Thursday night from 6.30pm we come together at XCHC for a collective art hack session! • Everyone is welcome to join, BYO project =^.^= Suitable for introverts and extroverts alike. • This is inspired by “art~hack [wlg]” group that started 10 years ago and still going strong. People bring mostly projects that sit between technology and art, but all creative projects are welcomed. whatever is your thing! Think groovy, hypnotic basslines, lush melodic layers, and a pace that pulls you in. • We are very excited to announce @ouhana.music will be joining us and bringing a LIVE downtempo set, followed by an extended DJ club set. • Ouhana (Berlin) is a ‘slow techno’ and downtempo producer who has been turning heads at underground parties and festivals across Europe.
