The 55th Juno Awards junoawards.ca took place Saturday March 28th & Sunday March 29th n Hamilton, Ontario. Some of the big winners included Tate McRae who won four awards, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Pop Album of the Year, Daniel Caesar picked up Songwriter of the Year, Contemporary R&B Album of the Year & International Achievement award, The Beaches won two awards, Rock Album of the Year and for the third time Group of the Year, , Aysanabee received Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year & Alternative Album of the Year, Bbno$ received the Juno Fan Choice award for a second year in a row, Tobi, Saukrates and Jully Black won Rap single of the Year , Melanie Fiona picked up Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year , Maestro Fresh Wes wins-Children’s album of the Year , Cameron Whitcomb won Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year, Billy Talent received the Humanitarian Award, Nelly Furtado was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame & Joni Mitchell received the Lifetime Achievement Award, only the third recipient in Juno history.
