jamming with @razorntape over the last four+ years has truly been a life changing era.
@jkriv@aaron_dae and @_disgonuts have completely shifted & strengthened the way I approach music & work & life. building a record label & sustaining a small business in this modern music landscape is legitimately a herculean feat. to be twelve years in and absolutely thriving is a testament to the brilliant minds at the label. of alll the lessons from the RNT over the years, the never-ending focus on a building a real community in brooklyn is far+away the most important takeaway… ’tis simply what its all about.
at the end of the year, i’ve decided to set sail from RNT and have the focus fully local here in montreal. the rnt crew is looking for someone to take the reins, ideally somebody already intertwined with the brooklyn / dance music scene at large. its honestly a dream opportunity & one of the best jobs in the entire world. go get it. holler if you wanna chat about it.
