“Collect Call” by Grant Noble and Cyrus Read
I wanted to make something different from what I usually do, so hit up my long time friend @grantnoble_ to film a random shaping and sheep hills day to show a side of Grant not everyone may know.
Had no idea what to do with the footage but got inspired by old skate clips of people talking on the phone over footage. So I called Grant back up to ask a few questions.
What started out as a random idea to show my friends other skills slowly turned into something a bit deeper. Which neither of us were expecting to create. Blessed to be able to film my friends do cool stuff. #lifeisgood
@tomschaar JUST WONT QUIT. 11 day battle for this one. We were all hoping to get it into his latest “CURTAINS” part but he still managed to handle it before the end of the year. The level of riding and dedication to the sport that Tom has shown us is nothing short of incredible. From countless NBD’s, highest level of control, and inspiring the next generation of transition riders. I couldn’t think of a better contender for Skater of The Year
All the clips I filmed for @tomschaar “Vert is Not Dead” part. Thank you Tom and @tweestopher for trusting me to help. 13 year old me still trips out I get to film this stuff. Forever grateful.
