Eddie P9. Toby P11. XL Lagares, Portugal 🇵🇹
Both riders started deep in the pack after a tough bottleneck off the line, sitting P15 and P17 in the opening laps. They kept their heads down, picked their way through traffic and by lap 5 were running together in the top 10. Eddie pushed Wade hard in the final stages but couldn’t quite make the pass. Toby was right there until a late crash, tree roots threw him off his bike in the closing stages, sending his bike down into the forest below. A setback that put him P11 at the end.
A hard race on a broken track. Good character shown by both riders. ⚡
