Here’s a picture of the first two @evhgear Super 78s that were displayed at this year’s winter event. These are super Strats with an “Eruption” neck profile adapted to a 1 11/16” to 2 1/4” profile. So, the necks are not an exact copy of the legendary “Eruption” neck seen on Van Halen 1, but are rather the “best of both worlds.”
Both were painted by the stripe master himself, Chip Ellis.
