I didn’t get around to making an updated steadi reel last year so here’s some fun shots from 2024ish-now. I know what you’re thinking:
“Your reel shouldn’t be more than 1.5 minutes.” “You shouldn’t use copyrighted music.” “You should have your contact info on there.” “You should let your shots breathe.” “You should only have one reel that you update periodically with your best work.”
Sure sure sure. But DEVO 🤷♂️
Needless to say, 2023 was a challenging year in this industry. Despite that, I was still able to work on some incredible projects with some very talented individuals and I’m proud to have an updated reel to show off some of my favorite shots from the past year. Here’s to everyone that kept me employed this year and to hopes of a better year for everyone in 2024!
I awoke the other morning to an incredible sight. Just as the first light of dawn was beginning to illuminate the Alabama Hills, I noticed the moon was simultaneously starting to set behind the Eastern Sierras. I quickly sprang out of my tent, grabbed my camera, and snapped a few shots right as the moon disappeared behind the sunlit mountains. Truly a beautiful moment that I’m glad I was able to capture.
I’ve had my eyes on this one for a while and can finally say we got it done. Whitney in a single push car to car in 18 hours climbing the East Buttress. Definitely the greatest physical accomplishment of my life… for now. Along the way another party asked us what we did to train for something like this. We both just laughed. Sometimes you just have to fuck around and find out what you’re capable of. We found out the hard way. @nathancombadiere couldn’t have done it without you buddy ❤️
