“Metamorphosis” is a group exhibition that brings together the work of six international artists selected by FUTURES Photography (
@futuresphotography ). Following presentations at Fotograf Zone in Prague and the Centre photographique Rouen Normandie, the exhibition arrived in Turin for EXPOSED (
@torino.photo.festival ) in a new, expanded version involving several independent spaces across the city. It will subsequently be presented at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest.
This group exhibition, on view until June 2, explores the theme of metamorphosis as a process of individual, social, and environmental transformation, offering a pluralistic view of the tensions that characterize our times. The works of Claudia Amatruda (
@claudiamatruda ), Máté Bartha (
@mate.bartha ), Benedetta Casagrande (
@benedetta_casagrande ), Anna Orlowska (
@anna_orlowska ), Ada Zielinska (
@adsoadsoadso ), and Yana Wernicke (
@yanawernicke ) are on view in the non-profit spaces Muchomas! (
@muchomas.project ), Witty Books (
@witty_books ), Almanac (
@almanac_eu ), Quartz Studio (
@quartzstudio_torino ), Cripta747 (
@cripta747 ), and Jest (
@jest_fotografia ), strengthening a network of collaboration between independent entities and new generations of authors in contemporary photography.
The exhibition is curated by Giangavino Pazzola (
@gianpazzola ) and was produced with the support of FUTURES, co-financed by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme. The theme was developed by a dedicated curatorial team from three member organisations of the platform: Světlana Malina (Fotograf Zone, Prague, Czech Republic), Emese Mucsi (Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Centre, Budapest, Hungary) and Raphaëlle Stopin (Centre photographique Rouen Normandie, France). The project is supported by CAMERA Torino (
@cameratorino ).
Der Greif is official media partner of FUTURES photography platform supported by the EU under the Creative Europe program (
