xxx Book launch Save the date 🗓️29.01.2026 📍@cripta747 Via Giolitti 32c, Torino We are glad to present Nuvola Ravera, one of the contributors of the publication “xxx”. @nuvola_ravera (b. Aquarius, Genoa) is an artist, lecturer and PhD researcher. Her research investigates the entanglement between psychic and environmental ecologies, memory, trauma, and practices of care, developing the notion of environmental therapy as an artistic and speculative methodology. She works through installations, performative actions, and sensory archives, using organic matter, scents, clays, creams, soil, and edible substances to explore the body’s material and emotional permeability. Matter in her practice becomes an affective and political organism — unstable, porous, and in transformation. As co-founder of the collective Corpi Idrici, she has developed participatory paths on water subjectivities, ecological rights, and situated practices between Genoa, The Hague, Oslo and Berlin. xxx Book launch Save the date 🗓️29.01.2026 📍@cripta747 Via Giolitti 32c, Torino Wissal Houbabi @wiho_who (1994) is a performance poet, artist, writer, creator and artistic director of Spore, hip hop head. She explores the relationship between languages and dialects, between sound, stigma and meaning. Her work has an explicitly political perspective, linking the search for beauty to dignity, and understanding poetic practices as a radical search for the “we”. Her projects investigate the epistemology of diaspora, and she has worked specifically on oral heritage in relation to colonial history, the voice of the body, muscle memory, dreams in the diaspora, and the right to love and be loved. She collaborates with cultural and artistic institutions, bringing practices that genuinely question structurally oppressive frameworks. Sveva Crisafulli @ssenhal is an independent researcher and PhD candidate in Artistic Practice at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. Her research and practice, rooted in decolonial feminist theory, explores the body and female identity in relation to neofascisms and sexuality, aiming to subvert the politics of desire. Ilaria Leonetti @ilarialeowetti is an independent curator and researcher. Her practice explores the relationship between performance, folklore and critical rewriting of history, investigating the role of rituals and women’s representation in popular narratives as forms of reappropriation and resistance. Alice Minervini @p.akkiana is an artist and researcher based between Italy and London. His research investigates the aesthetics of monstrosity within digital imaginaries, tracing how desire, identity, and technology entangle through esoteric and symbolic systems. His practice navigates media archaeology, glitch, and avatar-based experimentation, often inhabiting hybrid thresholds between the human and the artificial. The performative and ritual dimensions of his work open porous territories where the body becomes a site of transformation, vulnerability, and resistance. His inquiry emerges from a fascination with intra-subjective thought, trans embodiment, and the political potential of astrology, approached as instruments for rewriting dominant narratives and imagining collective futures. Their practice combines fieldwork with multidisciplinary research exploring social, political and ecological issues. Focusing on visual arts and curatorial practices, they work across photography, video, installation and publishing, collaborating with a wide range of independent spaces and institutions in Italy and abroad. Ambra Iride Sechi (1992) @irismater is a photographer and visual artist. Her practice explores the political and poetic potential of images through photography, video and performance. She investigates memory, territory and cultural heritage, combining documentary approaches with experimentation in analogue photography as a tool for criticism and social analysis. Dario Sanna (1996) @_dariosanna is a visual and multidisciplinary artist, his research focuses on the relationship between contemporary landscape, local resources and technologies. He works with installations and narrative devices that bring images, materials and social contexts into dialogue. Matteo Orani (1993) @matteo_orani , graphic designer and visual artist. His practice revolves around graphic design as a critical and incisive language, applied to publishing, photography and urban art. His works reflect on the contradictions of contemporary society through a direct and layered visual approach. xxx Book launch Save the date 🗓️29.01.2026 📍@cripta747 Via Giolitti 32c, Torino @davide.sgambaro (1989) studied at the IUAV University of Venice, he lives and works in Turin. He’s one of the founders and supporters of AWI Art Workers Italia. His practice restores irreverent dynamics of resistance in response to the generational paradoxes inside the social order. For this project, he collaborated with Viola Mancini @violamancini___ (1994), who studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Turin. She works as a freelancer and is a co-founder of the collective Muta Animation, with which she collaborated as art director on the short film The Meatseller, produced by Frenesy Film Company and presented in 2023 at the Venice Film Festival. The film won the David di Donatello award the same year. As an author, dramaturg, and performer, she has taken part in various performance projects presented in institutions and festivals. She’s also the curator of the radio programme Walk so silently that the bottoms of your feet become ears on Fango Radio. Nominated among the emerging artists of 2024 by Exibart, she is the winner of the Vienna Prize 2024. Her work reflects on the material connections between body and writing and on queer, anti-normative, and decolonial cultural practices. She writes for magazines and digital platforms such as Arabpop, Flash Art, Kohl: a Journal for Body and Gender Research, Il Tascabile, and Lucy. On culture, Not – NERO on Theory, Palestine Square, and has written texts for Collana Altera and Tamu Edizioni. She has published Grammatica della frammentazione (Grammar of Fragmentation) in Einaudi's Quanti series (2023) and Trans. Una poetica del paradosso (Trans. A Poetics of Paradox) for Nero Editions' NOT series (2025). She collaborates on performance projects, publications, and talks with collectives, independent spaces, and institutions. She is part of Bagnomaria, a trans collective space in Milan. In collaboration with @au___ro for this project, photographer and communication designer. Born in Monza in 1997, Auro completed a bachelor's degree in communication design (Politecnico di Milano, 2017-2020) and is currently attending a two-year course in photography (CFP Bauer, 2020-2022). Since 2023, he has been a member of Camera Club Milano. In July 2024, he participated in the Tagli artist residency in Stromboli. He lives and works in Milan.
