OED Director Johanna Nelson will lead a conversation with David Perez, founder of the New Mexico Innovation Hub, exploring his insights from “Let My People Go Surfing: The Education of a Reluctant Businessman” by @patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard. These discussions explore how business and innovation can be a force for good in the Santa Fe community and offer insights into creating greater impact. Light refreshments will be served. Books Behind the Business is a bimonthly series that brings local entrepreneurs, business owners, and social enterprise leaders together to share the books that shaped their journeys. Each session features a guest speaker discussing a book that influenced their leadership, strategy, or innovation, followed by an open conversation with attendees.
