My extremely long short documentary ‘Ramble On’ has been selected to screen as a world premiere at Sheffield DocFest 2022! @sheffdocfest
I can’t explain how chuffed I am to show this film at such an incredible festival… it’s a magical story and a super important cause and to screen on Terry’s home turf is beyond my wildest dreams for the film!!
Thank you to Terry for sharing his amazing story, to my incredible team who helped pull this one together on a shoestring, and to @nickhayesillustration and Guy shrubsole and everyone involved with the right to roam movement at @right.2roam for inspiring the project and for keeping the mass trespass movement moving forward!

A new year and a new project for your eyeballs nice and early in January!
Towards the end of last year I had the pleasure of directing my first ever toy commercial for @lego to help launch the new LEGO SMART PLAY system.
We hired a little studio and watched some absolutely wonderful kids playing with some extremely fun new LEGO toys… that was pretty much it! Keep it simple - Let the magical new toys speak for themselves (sometimes literally)

hi everyone,
just when you thought I’d forgotten about the fight for the right to roam, here I am with a new book of photographs to raise some money for the lovely folks at @right.2roam
I grew up near the chalky hills of the South Downs and recently finished the ancient footpath that traverses 100 miles across the national park - the South Downs way.
these photographs were taken over the course of nearly 3 years, between March 2020 when I first set foot on the path in Winchester with a bunch of friends, to New Year’s Eve 2022/23 with my partner on possibly the wettest, wildest most sideways rain walk I’ve ever done. We were wet to the core, but loving every minute.
A lot has happened in between the first step and the last, my head feels a little wider, my feet a little flatter… but the features of the South Downs way feel strangely unchanged… ancient, peaceful, watching over us as we pass by.
The photographs are a mixture of black and white 35mm film and monochrome digital, and printed on natural recycled paper in an A5, staple bound book.

‘Ramble On’ my extremely long short documentary about the right to roam and ‘Betty’ my documentary portrait about my late grandmother have both been invited into the BFI National Archive for preservation…
I’m not sure how long it will take to get them into the system but anyone visiting the archive or the BFI mediateque library will be able to watch them soon :)
