Clips from a new film just launched for GambleAware, on a lesser-known aspect of the problem. Gambling harm impacts more people than you think: for every person who gambles, up to six others are affected.

I completely lost my voice the evening before this shoot, which made for a peaceful day on set! We had really solid pre-production in place so were able to work through it without a hitch. I’ll share some of the boards/pre-vis against the final frames later.

A little clip from a fun one the other week for Young’s with the legend Phil Daniels. PARKLIFE!
Full edits with lots of old London pub knowledge are over on the @youngsbeer feed.
We shot this in an open pub so had to keep the equipment footprint incredibly light. The room had some nice ambient light already, so this was lit with just one @aputure.lighting Storm 80c through some half soft frost for a bit of an accent on Phil. Think it worked out pretty well considering! Throne chair thankfully found in their dining room.

Clips from a new mini-doc shot in Totnes in October, about the River Dart and how the centuries-old weir is now being used to generate cheaper, fossil fuel-free hydro electricity for local residents. Made for green energy specialists 100Green.
The vast majority of my work in London is shot indoors under full lighting, so what a refreshing change of pace it was to get to strip things back for this, get outdoors, and work with the available light.
