Our plan to build bottom-up resistance to billionaire technology We shouldn’t need platforms owned by the biggest losers on the planet to live happy, healthy, connected lives. Our fledgling network of technologists and organisers aims to make tech billionaires obsolete by co-creating our own means of production. Link in bio.

New online presence for climate justice organisation @platform1983 to showcase their work, history and creative approach to organising. Our goal with the design was to communicate a sense of active hope, showing how Platform are nurturing the seeds of solutions and cultural shifts as well as organising against oppression. Throughout the design process, we looked for ways to foreground what we thought was most interesting and inspiring about Platform: that they are not only helping people imagine radically different futures, but also finding ways to build alternative infrastructures in the present. 📈 The most granular and responsive data on on core deprivation metrics in England. The Annual Deprivation Index (ADI) is a project by the think tank Autonomy .It provides researchers and local authorities with granular, up-to-date data with which to base their analyses. This provides decision-makers with the information they need to allocate government resources, evaluating policies and understanding socio-economic inequalities. Our goal was to communicate the benefits of a more granular and frequent index of deprivation. The challenge here was working out how to keep people engaged on a single page site and convince them to download the data themselves. We decided to keep the communication lean, breaking up the key messages into sections to showcase each of the core features. We harnessed the power of the GSAP plugin library to animate text, trigger transitions and provide a smooth scrolling experience.
