EVERY TUESDAY 12-2
11766 WILSHIRE BLVD.
Did you know that right here in Los Angeles Genociders are allowed to rent office space in a private building to coordinate and promote the gen.ocidal entity “israel” even though the ICJ, the UN and every respectable humanitarian organization in the world has found they are war criminals? Should they be allowed to spread propaganda to legitimize ethnic cleansing? Should they work in peace right in our neighborhoods while recruiting settlers to move to Occupied Pal.estine to steal land in the West Bank? Should they be here recruiting soldiers to shoot children in the head?
NO.
JOIN US EVERY TUESDAY AND EVERY FRIDAY.

$1 billion dollars a day for an unprovoked war against Iran. Plus so much more to fund the genocide of Palestinians and the destruction of Southern Lebanon. When it comes to war, there is no such thing as not enough money. But when it comes to things like education, universal healthcare, daycare, we are routinely told, ‘We can’t afford that.’ This last year, the average U.S. taxpayer contributed more than $4,000 to the war machine.
Join us ever Tuesday from 12-2 pm and every Friday from 4-6 pm outside the Zionist Consulate on Wilshire Blvd, saying Free Palestine and demanding no more money for wars waged by the US or Israel. War is making us poor!
Palestinian Prisoners Day, April 17th, 2026
A group of protesters gathered outside of the israeli consulate near downtown Los Angeles, they demonstrate every Tuesday and Friday to voice their opposition to the genocide israel is committing / apartheid it’s enforcing.
𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙢𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩:
Cofounder of @codepinkalert Jodie Evans, attended the event with a message for the community: “please do not be silent.”
She encourages others to join this action on Tuesdays and Fridays or find a local action to attend, to use your voice and refuse silence in a world that is changing every day for the better.
“We know we live in a country right now where there is a majority of people that are against what Israel is doing that are for the Palestinian people“
Full interview on my page.
I also spoke to Avery, an organizer who has been attending the weekly protests before CodePink was involved and played a key role in them advertising the event. This is what she had to say about the significance of April 17th as Palestinian Prisoners Day.
“More than 9,600 Palestinians (including 350+ children) remain in detention—many without charge or trial—enduring horrific treatment and conditions that demand global attention and accountability. Their stories are too often unheard; their rights, too often denied.”
April 17th of every year is a date where Palestinians across the diaspora and those who remained in the occupied territories of Gaza, commemorate the difficult conditions inflicted upon Palestinians in Israeli detention. This year passes especially somberly as the Israeli Knesset has adopted a new death penalty law applying only to Palestinians, which, according to a UN expert, “constitutes discriminatory regime of capital punishment.”
The bill was approved March 30th of this year, expanding the use of capital punishment in civilian or military courts. The law only applies to Palestinians and has an explicit exception for Israeli settlers in the West Bank and states that the executions must be carried out within 90 days and cannot be pardoned.

We are confronted daily with the devastating reality of “israel’s” ongoing genocide against Palestinians—but we cannot ignore the wider pattern of violence carried out by “israel” across the region.
Even after a so-called temporary ceasefire with Iran, “israel” continues its attacks elsewhere. Just this morning, “israel” bombed over 100 locations in Lebanon—massacring and injuring hundreds. This is not isolated. It is expansionist, relentless, and devastating.
If we want real peace, “israel” must stopped.
Yesterday, I stood with Code Pink at their weekly protest outside the Zionist consulate. They’ve been showing up—every Tuesday and Friday—refusing to normalize the ongoing apartheid and genocide.
My sign read: War is making you poor.
Because the truth is, many Americans feel distant from these wars. They’re fought far away, out of sight, and most people here have never felt them on their own bodies. And when something feels distant, it’s easy to disconnect. So we have to bring it home—highlight how these wars impact people…even if “only” materially, here and now—because meeting people where they are can be the first step toward waking up.
It’s a difficult truth, but indifference thrives on distance.
Join them. Show up. Speak out.

We are proud of the work we did to Boycott Scream 7. We engaged millions of people in both online and real world actions and we widened the scope of what is possible in cultural boycotts. We introduced new audiences to BDS and taught people about the movement for a free Palestine. If you helped us spread the word or participated in the boycott THANK YOU. You should be proud of your solidarity. Take the lessons you learned and apply them to the next campaign to move us closer to a free Palestine.
