Palestinian families are being violently pushed off their farmland. Since late 2025, our activist community member has been on the ground in the West Bank, living alongside families facing armed settler raids and military demolitions. International presence, requested by the communities themselves, is one of the few deterrents against this violence. With fewer activists currently on the ground, she has been asked to stay to help protect these families. Dear Tacoma Community, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who stopped by our walk-in office hours at 350Tacoma today. Thank you to those who brought snacks, grapes, cookies, homemade treats, prayers, and—most of all—your time and conversations. Every offering, big or small, truly meant so much to us. Our walk-in community office hours at 350Tacoma happen every other Sunday, and our next office hours will be on Sunday, February 9, from 12pm–5pm. During these hours, you’re always welcome to stop by, say hi, sit with us, and—if you feel called—share a song or a poem. We have open mic🎙️All are welcome. We are deeply grateful to our community at @350tacoma and to everyone who stopped by that donated computers during our office hours today. Because of your generosity, the laptop donations helped complete the goal of five refurbished laptops for five teachers in Cuba. These computers will be refurbished and carried to Cuba by members of our community traveling at the end of December. This is what community looks like — people showing up for one another across borders, keeping usable technology out of the landfill, and putting it back into the hands of educators who need it most. Today we were able to offer community-based, donation-optional computer repair for low-income community members, including helping folks upgrade their Windows 10 computers to Windows 11. Please don’t throw away your computer. If you just need help updating it now that Windows 10 updates have ended, we’re here for you. We are filled with gratitude for the generosity of our community 🌱💻 Because of your computer donations, we were able to refurbish several laptops — replacing old hard drives with new SSDs, applying fresh thermal paste, and installing Windows 11 — giving them a second life instead of sending them to the landfill. These laptops are now in the hands of students in need at UW Tacoma’s Student Support and Advocacy department (@osas_uwt ). For many students, access to a reliable computer can mean the difference between completing a project or falling behind — and thanks to you, they now have the tools they need to succeed. We are continuing this program and are currently seeking quality computer donations so we can keep supporting students who often have to borrow short-term laptops they can’t save their work on. Your donation can change that. 💻✊🏾 Community Call for Support ✊🏾💻 Our comrade Synth (@synth1945 ) from the Black Panther Party (@bpp.wa ) has always shown up for the people. Recently, on behalf of Chiapas Education Project, he carried one of our refurbished computers all the way to Palestine so that a community organizer there could continue their vital work. This past weekend, after standing in solidarity at a Palestine event, Synth woke up to find a rock had been thrown through his windshield. 💔 Without his car, it’s difficult for him to continue the important heart and hard work he does for our communities. It will cost $300 to replace the windshield.
