Designing a cosmic journey ✨🌍➡️🌞
Honoured to be part of Underline Studio’s 20th Anniversary poster project! Celebrating two decades of timeless design and creative excellence with a special piece that pays tribute to their legacy.
About the Poster: At the inception of the idea of Underline, a rare cosmic event—the transit of Venus—could be viewed from our planet. This poster features text from the pages of The Transit of Venus Over the Sun, a book by Jeremiah Horrocks and his friend and correspondent William Crabtree in 1639. It has been designed in the format of a book page, a commemoration of my experience designing my first book as my first project at Underline Studio. Underline has continued to produce many projects that are rooted in an editorial influence throughout their 20 years, as well as inspire many young designers to view design through an editorial lens.
