Born Rapha Arthur Brown on the 16th February, 2025 at 1.24am, weighing-in 7lb, 5oz.
Emily and baby Rapha are doing really well! He’s pretty chill (so far) & loves to nap. Sometimes he looks like me, sometimes he looks like Em.
His middle name is dedicated to his great grandpa, Arthur “Art” Sayer, a 102 year old WW2 veteran who passed away recently.
Since bringing the baby home, Em has finally let me put the heating above 19 degrees (the first time in 3 years we’ve lived here).
Wrigley has taken to Rapha very well! He’s been very curious, gentle and loving. Fun trivia (but only coincidence): Wrigley’s first ever toy was a stuffed Giraffe named “Raphy.”
We’ve never done so much laundry in our lives, and let’s not even talk about the washing, sanitizing and drying all the bottles. Renewed respect to all the parents out there!
Rapha was born a Manchester United Supporter (see pic), but he will get an optional off-ramp in 4 years time, if they are still this painful to watch. Jokes aside..he WILL support them through thick and thin!
Rapha first song (outside of the womb) was “God only knows” by The Beach Boys, a shuffle selection from a baby playlist we built him.
Thank you to our friends and family who have supported us over the duration of the pregnancy, and since Rapha came into the world. Very excited to eat all the lasagne coming our way!
Big shout out to Lily and Jack, who helped clear mountains of snow from our driveway and house, so we could get back from the hospital safe and sound.
We’re really excited to see Rapha grow into this world.
