Five years ago today, we officially launched @newkid . It’s a journey I haven’t shared much about, but I’m hoping to change that.

In absolute awe looking back at this year. It was a season of prioritizing family life and growing the business. It came with sacrifices and heartbreak (love you forever, Kings!), but also so much JOY. Grateful for all of the special moments we got to witness, from weddings and babies to trips around the world.
It truly was an unpredictable year. Proud of the life @dattmonne and I are building ❤️🔥 Excited and hopeful for what’s ahead. See you all in 2026!
Oh sweet, Kings. What a beautiful life you had. Even in your senior years, you never slowed down. People often asked, “how old is your puppy?” They were surprised when I said 10. Then it was: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. I let myself think you might live forever…
For 16 years, you’ve been by my side. Through two years of university, 10 jobs, 10 houses, countless friendships and relationships. All the way to marrying Matt, who unbelievably shares the same birthday with you(!!) and having Hollis. You were my first dog, and our family’s first dog.
Can’t believe we had to say goodbye. Grateful you never needed meds or surgery. In awe that you lived long enough to meet my husband and son. Thankful for every memory. Love you forever, Kings 👑
@newkid “offices” over the last four years. Three spaces @eastroom , co-working at the lovely @bokplaycafe , countless virtual meetings, and a lot of sitting at dining room tables and in playrooms. Excited for the year ahead 💫
