A few photos from the #chalkback event yesterday. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories 💕The first one is actually my own story. I don’t usually share my personal stories but this one really stuck. It was New Year’s Eve and I was at a bar with my friends. We had been talking to this guy and then he suddenly turns to me and says “do you want to fuck me? Because I would fuck you so hard.” I couldn’t believe that even after having talked to him he could still just see me as a sexual object. It made me feel so vulnerable and upset. I’m thankful to have a community where I know I can share these stories and be supported ❤️ #stopstreetharassment

Today is the final day of 16 days of activism, but our work is not near done. Over the past 16 days we’ve seen how there is no where near sufficient accountability when it comes to street harassment and gender-based violence. Our topic today is accountability and believing survivors. We use @catcallsofnyc and @chalkbackorg to hold people accountable for their words. We write them down to demand that everyone recognizes the impact of street harassment. We tell these stories which are too often unheard or ignored. What does accountability and believing survivors mean to you? #16Days #16DaysofActivism #ChalkBack #16DaysChalkBack #nomeansno

ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT TO SEE THE SHOW! We are grateful to everyone who came to UNCENSORED over the past week at @barflippys in Naarm/Melbourne. 🖤Created by @thequeeragenda.ams and @reprouncensored , UNCENSORED explores what it means to preserve visibility, memory, intimacy, and culture at a time when entire communities are increasingly erased from digital public life. The exhibition brings together artists, performers, organizers, nightlife communities, and friends across nights of gathering, conversation, photography, performance, and collective presence in response to ongoing censorship impacting queer, sexual health, sex worker, and creative communities globally. 🚨As we were preparing for the exhibition, The Queer Agenda was taken down once again by Instagram, making the show feel more urgent than ever. 💗The exhibition is open until May 9. 💗All exhibition prints are by @micklin.i and are available for sale, with all proceeds going directly to @thequeeragenda.ams 👉Visit the link in bio to view @thequeeragenda.ams Exhibitor Catalogue or DM photographer @micklin.i directly for print inquiries.

Have you ever wished you had more resources for dealing with street harassment? Saloni Sethi, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence, gives us a rundown of what’s available via @nycendgbv and the motivation behind their anti-street harassment campaign. Sexual assault awareness month may be over but our advocacy is all year round. Image description in pinned comment.

⚠️These are just few prompts for AI generated abuse. ❤️ @reprouncensored and @weareultraviolet are launching a public reporting tool designed to expose and map the deepfake ecosystem. Check out the link in @reprouncensored bio to learn more and report online abuse. ➡️ Every single day, women and girls are bearing the brunt of this abuse while companies like Google, Apple, and xAl continue to fuel and profit from it in the name of our so called “Al future. 📣In an 11 day period alone between December 2025 and January 2026, an estimated 3 million individuals, including 23,000 children, were sexually deepfaked through xAl’s Grok chatbot. And that was just one app among many. On streets or online, we need to protect girls and women from this type of abuse. #ChalkBack

Did you hear?? The NYC Mayor’s office launched an anti-street harassment campaign! 📣📣 Led by @nycendgbv and advocated for by the Street Harassment Prevention advisory board, the campaign raises awareness about street harassment and provides resources for New Yorkers experiencing it. We interviewed Priya Nair, Executive Director of @nycgenderequity and Saloni Sethi, Commissioner of @nycendgbv . Check out our Chalk and Talk with Priya Nair to learn more about the campaign, and stay tuned for another episode with Saloni Sethi coming next week. 🚨UPDATE: We are reposting our event because The Queer Agenda has once again been taken down by @instagram , alongside a growing number of queer, cultural, and feminist accounts across Amsterdam and Berlin. *THIS IS A PHYSICAL EXHIBITION BECAUSE THE DIGITAL WORLD WOULD NOT ALLOW IT. We invite you to UNCENSORED: a FLINTA+ community exhibition by @reprouncensored and The Queer Agenda in collaboration with @striptopia @chalkbackorg . FLIPPY’S BAR, NAARM (Melbourne) @barflippys OPENING NIGHT: 25 APRIL, 8PM EXHIBITION RUNS: 25 APRIL – 9 MAY 2026 The images in this exhibition document bodies, intimacy, nightlife, desire, and collective presence. They were not created as political symbols. But in a digital environment where queer visibility, s*xual expression, and s*x work are routinely flagged, suppressed, or erased by automated systems, simply being seen becomes political. 💖SIDE PROGRAM OF WOMEN DELIVER 2026 💖FREE ENTRY. OPEN TO ALL. 💖PHOTOGRAPHY BY MICKLIN KORSUIZE.
