Everytime we go out chalking every person in the state stares at us like we are aliens from another dimension. Many a times we get catcalled while chalking against catcalling. When we chalk, the whole road stops to stare at us. We can only hope they don't take any pictures of us or harm us in any way. Some of them even catcall us with the catcalls we chalk. A lot of them ask us what we wrote just to hear it from us. But sometimes there are people even men who come to us and ask us to carry on and that's what makes all of this worth it. .

International anti harassment week runs from 7-13th April against catcalls, assault, groping, sexual, racist or anti lgbtq+ comments and so on. It is a global issue we should all stand against. Safe roads for all is not a privilege, it's a basic right. One of the main reasons girls are restrained from going out is due to the harassment on roads. And this week we speak against it internationally every year.
