The Team! The Team! The Team! Last night, @josh_banach , @tinkleinthesync , and I won an Emmy at the #SportsEmmys @theemmys.tv for In The Arena: Serena Williams — and it still doesn’t feel real. Waking up (slightly hungover) and reflecting on everything, I keep coming back to one overwhelming feeling: gratitude. I’m beyond lucky to do this wild, wonderful audio work with some of the most creative, passionate, kind, and ridiculously talented people out there. This past weekend, @theascentfilm , an incredible project we had the opportunity to work on, premiered at @sxsw and just found out it won the Documentary Feature Audience Award!! I’d be lying if I said the team didn’t shed a few tears while working on it, It’s an incredibly powerful story. Congratulations to the entire team!!! Last night was a special night! Since high school @cartel.band album Chroma had basically been the only cd I had in my car and last night was the first time I got to see it performed. The band sounded incredible and the crowd may have been the best one I’ve ever been a part of. You could tell every single person was there because they loved this album that came out 20 years ago so much. I’m sure none of them have a voice left today like me from singing our hearts out! Such a fun night.
