Through the voices of those who worked there, the film captures ambition, resilience, and the immigrant spirit that defined one of New York’s most legendary spaces.
Top of the World premieres this fall in select theaters and on CNN, marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and the 50th anniversary of Windows on the World.
Premiering at SXSW on March 15, The Ascent, co-produced by TIME Studios and directed by Edward Drake, Francis Cronin, and Scott Veltri, follows climber Mandy Horvath’s extraordinary attempt to crawl to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro on her hands after losing both legs at 21 under mysterious circumstances.
