Faceoff: Inside the NHL season 2 is now streaming on Prime! I’ve been working on some version of this show for the past 8 years. From AC to cam op, to unit DP and now finally series DP. The journey here has been incredible and I’m so grateful for all of it. Special thanks to @jeanclaudevandamigone for trusting me to helm the series, and to our amazing crews who worked in multiple cities across 6 months keeping the longest hours and highest standards. For the better part of last year I got to work on one of the coolest doc series to date. Game 7 is a 5 part series with a behind the scenes look at some of the most compelling games played across all sports over the last 40 years. We interviewed the players and coaches that made the difference in those games, on both sides. I found the end result to be very powerful (binged them all last night 👀). I’m really proud of this one. Thank you to Director @jeanclaudevandamigone , Producer @ryanlohuis , EPs @therealmarkmessier , and @dannydevito . Plus everyone at @wordsandpicturesprod and Left/Right. I’m late with the post, as usual, but for those who don’t know- this incredibly powerful and important film that I had the pleasure to work on is now available to stream on HBO. My biased opinion is that we were robbed of the Oscar win, but the nomination was still pretty cool. So so grateful to everyone who made my involvement possible, but especially @hgertler and @auntyanthony . Very very proud of this one.
Komodo goes full doc mode ❤️. Shooting a series with the NY Rangers this week for @espn and I’ve learned that shooting hockey with a global shutter is a real treat. This little cam continues to be very capable.
So pleased to share this new music video that I made with some of my closest friends and collaborators in the whole world. Started with a banger of a track from @ladyhawkeforyou and a creative vision of lovers battling through dance by the incredible @auntyanthony . 2 separate units of fiery queer artists battled lockdowns, time zones and 9000 miles of physical distance to make this and we’re so so proud.
