We've had the chance to reflect on how wonderful of a day we all had down at the Bric-a-Brac festive market ☃️
It was the perfect way to round off our first year and we're so grateful for all our fantastic stallholders, the gorj SMP team, and ofc all of you lot for popping by, hanging out and shopping small! 🫂
It's amazing to see this thing grow, and it's been such a pleasure building a little community
2026 will definitely see us hosting more markets and more events, but for now we'd like to say another mahoooosive THANKS 🫶

The Bric-A-Brac Art Market returns to SMP 🐢
We're so excited to be back at @somethingmoreproductive for another market on Sunday 7th December ☃️🎨
We’ve curated another fantastic lineup of local makers who’ll be filling SMP with their wonderful creations; from ceramics and knitwear to prints, zines, and much more! It’s the perfect chance to pick up a lovingly crafted Christmas gift for someone special (or yourself) and enjoy another day of glorious, creative connection ✨
We'll be opening our doors from 10Am til 4PM, so you'll have plenty of time to grab a coffee, have a browse, and hang out. Plus, once the stalls are packed away, SMP will be open for an evening of festivities from 5pm, so be sure to stick around 🌲
In the meantime, save the date, tell ya pals and keep an eye out for our stall holders announcement, which will be dropping very soon! 🤩

✅SMP X BRIC-A-BRAC ✅
Well...what can we say?! The sun was shining on the whole of Manchester on Sunday, but it felt particularly bright in a small, idyllic corner of Withington 🌞
It makes us so happy that the second edition of the Bric-a-Brac Art Market was such a success! It was a day that showcased a plethora of amazing creations and it was so lovely to witness such genuine creative connections being formed 🌱
SMP was the perfect venue and we're so grateful to Theo & the team for serving up delicious cakes, bakes, sarnies, and coffee all day, and for being all round heroes 🫶
And of course, thank you so much to all 7 of the supremely talented makers, who filled the room with their wonderful artwork and lovingly crafted goods as well as such an infectious energy throughout the day - We couldn't have done it without yous! 🤝
Lastly, mahooooosive FANKS to every single one of you who popped by to browse, hangout, chat, and connect with us all. It was such a great example of the true community spirit you can find across Manchester and really reminded us of all the talented people who live here💡
Here at Bric-A-Brac we've got a few things bubbling with regards to future events, products, and markets, so please keep your eyes peeled for announcements.

'Hey, I’m Dylan - an illustrator and lover of all things print, based in Stockport. My work focuses on bringing narratives to life through a playful and vibrant style. I’m drawn to the happy accidents and imperfections that come with using a variety of printing methods and take big inspiration from French poster artists like Raymond Savignac and Hervé Morvan.
At the market, I’ll be selling a selection of printed goods including Riso prints, clothing, books, and stickers. Come by, have a browse, and say hello!'

We are SO excited to have the creator of the famous WEE WOMPS, @kawafi hosting a stall at our market on Sunday 11th May!
'Hello! My name’s Nadia and I’m an illustrator and maker from Manchester. My practice mainly centres around digital illustration, sticker making, and print work, but more recently I’ve dived into the world of polymer clay and started bringing little characters to life called Wee Womps. I’m super inspired by playful worlds and character-driven storytelling, and I’ll have lots of stickers, figurines, prints and keychains with me at the market - hope you’ll come by and say hello!'

'Helloo we are two sisters Elsa & Sarah from Manchester who work together as 2B. We are inspired by our silly childhood stories, a love of doodling and bad puns often recreated in bright colourful risograph ink. 'Hey I’m Rose an artist and jewellery maker from Manchester. My practice consists of lots of different things like beading, painting, drawing and making, I love a bit of everything really! I’m inspired by vintage jewellery, clothes and artwork. At the market I’ll be selling my handmade glass bead jewellery, made from sourced lamp-work glass beads and stainless steel metal.
