One of the great things about being an illustrator/designer is being able to bring your skills into things that are NOT work. We had the absolute pleasure of planning secret 2B sister Lillian’s hen do (as in, elsa did most of the planning as usual), and it was SO fun!
Lil loves Charli xcx so we decided to go for a brat theme 💚 and we played around with some of her other loves and combined this with snoopy, kpop and fine treats. We made snoopy/brat decs, decorate your own photocard, the beloved crisp wall and had brat donuts (thank you so much @siopshop they were DELICIOUS).
Everyone looked so good and was so on theme! Thank you SO MUCH to our dear friend Shen of @passionfruitmcr for letting us do the first leg in her shop, her ice cream sandwiches were amazing and we had loads of fun.
Sometimes I think we can get a bit bogged down with work and making “perfect” posts so I thought it would just be fun to show you all a slice of our day! And congratulations to the happy couple of Lil and Rowan of course 💚 @lils_lolz_

Which one of these lemotions are you today? I’ve actually had a really lovely day so there’s no angry eyebrows here for once! I love this muscular bread character that elsa drew and I do get sad at his tears 😭 a hug for our non gluten tolerating friends (which I know is worse than a stomach ache), but at least you can have muscular abs while you cry…

Today we spotlight our Cowboy Frogs risograph print! Look at these two cuties hootin and hollerin with some creatures and fun cowboy items. This is a three colour print in red, pink and green and look how vibrant the good old pink came out! We have our frog couple on many items (they are called Bramble and Turnips) and I love how sassy they are here. Have a rootin tootin day!

🐟WHITBY 🦀
We were lucky enough to go on a little trip to Whitby a few weeks ago, as @thisisjonturner was doing some important illustration work in the lovely town and we decided we needed to tag along. It was our first time staying in Whitby, though we used to go to Robin Hood’s Bay a lot as kids which is very close! It was so fun staying in the town, especially as it got spookily foggy on the last day when we pilgimaged up the 199 steps to the Abbey. We had chips, we had ice cream and we even had a beverage outside in the sunshiiine! AND on a pirate ship! It was an excellent time and us and @mandrawke felt very refreshed. I definitely need to draw some more seaside stuff and feel inspired by the sea and slot machines. Here’s a selection of photos from our trip away, we had so much fun 🦀

Which Bestiary Friend Art Thou ZINE!
We’ve been working really hard on brand new fun things here at 2B towers, and the other day we managed to print a brand new RISOGRAPH PRINTED ZINE! This one is in ode to all of the weird wobbly creatures you get in illuminated manuscripts, and you can assign yourself to one of them if you so wish. We printed it in purple and red inks, and the eagle eyed amongst you might recognise these beasts as the same ones we have in our mini print machine! Now compiled in a nice a6 zine, you can pop them in your pocket for a nice read. Really excited about this one as it was a challenge to do a whole zine in two colours but the colors are so nice. There are 12 beasts within and some cute end papers with a pattern on them too. Have a gander!
