Iāve always been the kind of person who just canāt wait to get in a gift shop and whatās better than an international crisp?. Garden Of Peach is an incredible independent restaurant in Chorlton which specialises in both Taiwanese cuisine and creating a home for community, art and culture that is open to everyone.

We recently had a delightful trip to Leeds that included a delicious trip to @friendsofham where we enjoyed port tonics, cheeses and other things that pleases. I started doodling these pigs and now Iāve just finished them and thought Iād present them on to you here!

A plesure to be part of the @warchilduk x @nowgalleryse10@secret7s exhibition! This was my illustration inspired by @gregoryportermusic ās āMerchants of Paradiseā. I was really struck by the melodic beauty and horror of how there are those that would take the very ground we walk on away from us and those yet to come for their own gain. I was also inspired by a blog post I once read about salmon swimming up stream to return home (which, Iām not sure the poster used the analogy to include the fact that they get it on once and then die) but itās this sort of disruption of the circle of life, of both war and rampant inequality that we contend with.

We finally made all the pins weāve been hoping to make for the past few years. This little baker pal has been in my sketchbook for ages waiting to come to life. Theyāre a marker of my joy of cooking that Iāve managed to reconnect with after my sense of taste and smell have (generally) returned to me.
