FULLY PEPPERED 2026
Class to get @fullypeppered off the ground and share it with the world. We've worked super hard on the curation side of things and it's been a proper all-hands-on-deck @semipeppered collaboration thus far.
Here I show you some of the process behind the artwork and branding for the festival. This is only a small snippet of many scribbles and ideas, but it gives you a bit of insight into how I arrived at the final products. You'll probably notice we started with an entirely different name too. Looking back, I'm glad we decided against it, as 'Fully Peppered' is a fitting testament to us realising a long term collective goal.
There'll be plenty more to come from us, including a second wave announcement and a bunch of other design-related bits and bobs. Stay tuned and thank you for the support so far 🫑🫑🫑

AMD LIVE w/ Memotone + Port Figures

For the third show in their live series, A Midnight Detour invites multi-instrumentalist, Memotone to deliver his unique blend of experimental, ambient, and modern classical music to the intimate Stockport space, Brent Hairdressing. Support will come from Port Figures, a new project by local artists Miles & Esme.
Memotone is the project of Newport-based musician William Yates. He combines piano, clarinet, percussion and electronics, exploring the spaces found between ambient, jazz and contemporary classical. His music tends to unfold slowly and balances composed and improvised passages - all with a focus on atmosphere. In his live performance, all of these facets come together to create layered, immersive sets that present a quiet intensity. His latest album, Smallest Things, captures this approach in a series of subtle and reflective genre spanning soundscapes.
With their new project ‘Port Figures’, local pals, Miles & Esme, take on a sample-driven approach, experimenting with blurring the lines between live instrumentation and chopped up audio. Whilst resampling guitar lines and incorporating snippets of songs, vocals and textures, the duo will layer live vocals and build audio landscapes that feel eerie and intimate in equal measure. Both bringing history from other projects such as R Power Birthday, Port Figures aim to carve a fresh space rooted in experimentation.
AMD Residents will provide the evening's soundtrack with doors open at 19:00 and performances starting around 20:00. Tickets are £8, available via the link in bio. See you there x
