✨ Hey, I’m Hollie – the face behind Jive! ✨ If you’re new here (or just haven’t heard from me in a while 👀), I’m a visual artist creating playful illustrations that can live anywhere – from greeting cards and calendars to large-scale murals. I also run creative workshops for events, festivals, and schools. Jive began in 2016 as a joyful collab with my pal Aimee – we turned hand-cut paper shapes into bold screen prints and t-shirts. Jive then grew into a colourful world of creativity, using our playful style on anything we could get our hands on! For the past two years, Jive’s been a solo venture, although Aimee still joins for the occasional calendar collab 💛 These days, Jive is all about bold illustrations, murals, and sparking creativity through fun, hands-on workshops. I was in Leeds last weekend which meant I got to see the banners I recently designed for @leedscouncil They’re up on Kirkgate and Central Road, adding a bit of colour to the area. Leeds is such a special place for me, full of great memories and where Jive first started - so it’s always a pleasure working on projects here! 🌀✴️🌷

I’ve cycled past this black square almost every day for the last 4 years, always thinking how great it would be to paint it. Finally, I popped into the newsagents and asked if I could - and they said yes! So here it is - a fun design that was a joy to paint!
