꩜ May mail is here !!! ꩜ The character focus this month is on these little guys - the Sproutlings! They’re the reason everything comes back to life each spring, so they’re very busy right now, working hard to bloom flowers, leaves, and shrubs wherever they can. The larger figure is the Sproutling King, who watches over and protects them by keeping an eye on the forest through his network of roots and plants. I hope you love them as much as I do!
The print will likely not look like this as I printed this on my Epson, not with a Risograph. I’m still waiting on getting the actual riso printed versions sent over to me, but I will share some pics of them once they come through :o) im excited !!

I ended up prompting myself ‘sheep rider’ for this one because I was feeling a little lost without my tober prompts. Feel free to draw your own sheep riders if you like the sound of that prompt. #repostyourart day 9 is LIGHT ! It was a really fun to look through my art and find all the times I had played with spotlights in my work. I really love this technique so much, it’s so rewarding painting the contrasting colours to give this strong sense of light :o) I really need to practice more types of light painting !
