New work for @ford ​ ‘All-Electric Ford Explorer’ - DC. ​ There’s a certain magic to getting up before dawn to go on an adventure. For production crews in particular, there’s something about those mornings humming with activity and anticipation. And caffeine. Then you can often find yourself in some pretty spectacular locations - they have to look good on camera after all. That’s the feeling we wanted to capture in this edit for Explorer, Ford’s all-electric SUV which also happens to be one of the most comfortable cabin interiors I’ve ever sat in. Huge thanks to our crew and to @sanyelamos who handled the elements every bit as impressively as the hero vehicle. New work for @castrolusa ‘Castrol Heroes’ USA Edit - DC Did you ever play with toy trucks as a kid? I got to do the grown-up version :-) This project was unapologetically big and bold. I wanted to get as much scale as possible into every frame whilst keeping the overall emphasis on the drivers. Part of the challenge was filming two trucks and talent for different international markets. We needed up to three versions of most set-ups. This was coupled with the fact there aren’t that many places on desert/mountain roads to turn around an 18-metre-long big-rig, so the shoot logistics had to be watertight with every take maximised. From sunrise in the desert to snowy mountain peaks, this was one of those shoots that reminded me what a privilege this job is and how lucky I am to work with such excellent people. New work for @ford You’ll know the name of this car. And if you haven’t heard already - it’s back… My Dad was the right age to own a Capri in the 1970s (the 3-litre V6 version, sports fans) and has nothing but fond memories of the fast Ford. The new Capri merges past and future and it was great to play with that duality in the films we made. @giorgiomoroder ‘s track ‘74 Is The New 24’ hits the same spot with its blend of vintage and modern instrumentation. This director’s cut is a combination of edits we created. Thanks to the particularly talented crew who made this one come together - it was a journey and a pleasure to be a part of re-introducing this legendary nameplate to the public.
