Earlier this year our family was in bloom with the arrival of our second beautiful baby girl. It’s been 6 months of slowing down and shifted focus and now after some time away from the industry it feels so nice to be back capturing weddings again, with clearer eyes and an expanded heart.A privilege to kick off this new season in Hawaii with the wedding of Sophie & Tyler, a week of heartfelt celebrations hosted at their family home in Maui. A true moment of gratitude for this career to be working in such a special part of the world for such kind and gracious people, alongside dear industry friends.Some portraits of Sophie to begin, something her sons can cherish many years from now, captured in a place their Mum holds very close to her heart.

Back in LA this week ( some two years after the memorable Hollywood wedding of @laurendavisbritvan & Laurence ) and reminded that the best part of this job as a wedding photographer - aside from the great privilege that it is to be invited to travel for creative work, is being around people in often the happiest and most glamorous moments of their life, to be trusted to create pictures that are authentic, joyful, timeless and beautiful.
