It’s not very often we’ll jump back into event projects, but when @lizablakiston & @oliviablakiston call, you pick up the phone.📞
What started out as designing a custom candle-scape, quickly turned into a lightening storm of ideas. (These storms aren’t uncommon when Liza & I get together)
For over 9 months working alongside Liza’s creative direction, we ended up producing some accent styling pieces that we’re so excited to finally share:
1. A custom HOF tablescape: using over 100 of our brand new XXL Cathedral candles. We designed a multi-levelled scape that created an intimate atmosphere that lasted all night long.
2. LED name tags & embroidered menu napkins.
3. The wedding invitation: a custom vinyl featuring 12 of the couples favourite songs. The songs were later played at the wedding.
4. One of three handmade crystal vinyl decals, taking over two weeks (and a team of 4) by hand to make.
5. The ceremony booklet, bound by hand a traditional Japanese technique, featuring silver foil cover.
6. THE RED PAGE: A red translucent page to signify the exchanging of vows.
7. The XXL hot pink thoroughfare room that led guests to the reception reveal.
8. Custom Mirror plinths to create a city-scape effect.
9. Chocolate XXL Cathedral candles in the conversation room.
10. The wedding favour: Custom engraved zippo lighters.
It’s hard to put into words just how much this project was a pleasure to be a part of.
It’s also impossible to put every element into one, 10-slided post, so trust that this won’t be the last you see of this spectacular wedding.
