𝄪𝄪𝄪 Proof that I’m alive 𝄪𝄪𝄪 I’m really thrilled to finally share this new track « Hematom » on @hiddenrhythms and Premiered on @badtipsaudio . It feels like one of those moments where when things click just right : right people, right sounds, no rush to explain too much 𝄪 This one grew out of long sessions, low light, and an obsession with pressure and space. Sub-bass as something you lean into, drums that breathe, textures left slightly rough on purpose…this one is for the low-end prospectors 𝄪 Big love to Hidden Rhythm for the trust, the attention to detail, and for creating space for this kind of sound to exist without compromise. Echoing several months of curation, All Pleasure No Pressure arrives as a symbol after the Hidden Rhythms’ 10th year anniversary. Once again comprising eight tracks, this second volume features a selection that is ethereal, with ophélie’s ballad on Glow Worms and Marie Tjong Ayong track Melon Days, but also sharp and cerebral, with Nightmanager’s Tonka, Antoine 80’s Cyborg Sorrow, and Less-O’s Drum Echo. With a view to push the boundaries of club music in a unique way, the tracks Brrrr by Fa:act, Hematom by Same O and finally Loup Garou by the duo Gentle Glock follow one another to bring this second volume to a stylish close. our first EP, better world is out now! ⟢٠࣪⭑✮⋆˙ we’re so happy to share these six tracks, in which we have poured so much of ourselves and our influences. We wanted to explore the temptation to give in to apathy, in a world where we are aware of everything but feel we have no control over anything (or very little). And, beyond this bitter observation, we wanted to explore how to build connections with people and communities in which we can be totally vulnerable, in order to heal ourselves and others. better world, octobre, rocket usa, blood and rain, addicted, and breakdown. After blending all his inspirations throughout the years into his music, Myca$h delivers here a coherent yet singular EP with Deterministic. No Trespassing - my second single for my solo project, mpthy, is out today 🐦‍⬛ this track was born 5 years ago from the ig story of a friend I screenrecorded and sampled. it sat in my hard drive for 3 years until I found myself in the states on October 7th and got some inspiration for the lyrics. then, another year of sitting in the drive until it was finally mixed and mastered last year. for whatever reason I just never felt the need to release it, and didn’t feel it was time for it to be out in the world. but now, it all feels very timely. it started with a sample from the states, the instrumentation inspired by the states, and the lyrics from signage and experiences in the states. I think it speaks for itself what I’m thinking about and talking about. the cover is a photo from my family archives (taken by my father, I presume, around the 1960s) in Communist Romania behind the Iron Curtain. every aspect of cultural, economic, political, and social life was controlled by the regime and the secret police. cameras, film, and darkrooms were hard to come by, and photography was restricted to only depicting “happy” every day life that promoted the communist state. available on @ninaprotocol , @bandcamp , and wherever else you stream music <3 produced & mixed by @dearmpthy mastered by @basic_mastering merci à @borin_comjaja et @basic_mastering pour leur support ★

I'm super happy to share my new track, "haha" which exists because I recorded myself laughing into my microphone by accident and used that and an Ableton stock laugh as the basis of this track. Plongez dans le monde hypnotique de l’artiste japonais CITYBOY avec la sortie de l’EP « Hypnotize ».  Inspirée de la résidence que ses acolytes et lui tiennent une fois par mois, « Hypnotize » tire ses influences de la scène drum & bass et breakbeats à laquelle lui-même contribue. La volonté de donner un aspect hypnotisant à sa musique se traduit dès l’entame de FLA&hyp. Composé d’un loop brut et entêtant, l’intro est déconstruite de manière subtile par l’arrivée d’une pluie percussive dnb génétiquement modifiée. L’EP se poursuit avec I’m Talkin, qui résonne avec son rythme décalé et ses nappes envoûtantes comme une incursion dans l’espace-temps. Arrive ensuite le morceau Jomon, définition même d’une dubstep marécageuse et caverneuse. L’EP se termine sur une touche plus hip hop en conflit avec ses aspirations junglesques avec le remix de Tommy Jacob qui réinterprète sans concession FLA&hyp. All Pleasure No Pressure. Inspired by the residency he and his cohorts hold once a month, “Hypnotize” draws its influences from the drum & bass and breakbeats scene to which he himself contributes. The desire to give his music a hypnotic quality is evident from the very start of FLA&hyp. Composed of a raw, heady loop, the intro is subtly deconstructed by the arrival of a genetically modified dnb percussive rain. The EP continues with I’m Talkin, which resonates with its offbeat rhythm and bewitching strings like an incursion into space-time. This is followed by Jomon, the very definition of swampy, cavernous dubstep.
