Four tracks, several years in the making, one thread running through all of them: bass music with something to say.
Don’t Stop!, the first cut he put out under the alias, sits in old-school dubstep territory with a low end fat enough to feel in your chest. Armitage Shanks, built with Altered Era, drops the temperature into something darker and more locked-in, all weight and forward drive. Post Protest was written on the way back from an anti-fascist march and you can hear it, breakbeats swinging under a knot of frustration that never loosens. 1312 Sound closes the EP at jungle pace, a stomper stitched from the same raw nerve, louder and more hostile.
Across the four tracks DrumPhill treats tempo as a tool, and lets the politics fuel the drums instead of crowding them.

Bad Tips runs on a simple logic: no genre loyalty, no wasted side.
Three volumes in, the Good Vibes series has become the clearest expression of that. A space where are gathered producers who don’t share a sound but share an instinct. The result is less a compilation than a curated argument for what club music can still do when it refuses to settle.
Good Vibes Vol. 3 stretches that argument further. Sixteen tracks across two sides that move from cold, submerged riddims and elastic bass to granular noise, footwork-inflected chaos and lullaby breakcore, before the floor eventually gives way to something more organic, more ritual. Face A pushes ; Face B drifts and closes. Both are necessary.
