Our first Polytope EP welcomes two wonder kids from the European bass music scene: the Brussels-based fa:act and Meli Mena from Paris. They have worked hard to deliver you a 6-track, club-ready opus, with a special collaboration and a remix by Maoupa Mazzochetti.
« COUGH TWICE IF YOU CARE » explores the depths of the hardcore continuum with a special twist from these two talented artists:
fa:act created two dancehall-inspired bangers with his iconic touch: « Wizard Bubble » and « Breeze and Riddim ».
Meli Mena has produced two high-energy club gems with break influences and IDM resonances: « Hot Girls Get Sad » and « SideQuest Nap. »
They both released the already famous 140 bpm club anthem « Dust Drip, » which has destroyed many dancefloors all over the world.
All these tracks got the Maoupa Mazzocchetti special analog treatment; he also gifted us with a strong remix of « SideQuest Nap » from our dear Meli Mena.

A few weeks ago, I dropped a little mix for @lewislowe_redstonepress residency on @radio_buena_vida
We first linked up last summer at Jacala in Brussels : big bzzzzz @eclipsetribez 💙
and now I’m buzzing to be part of his residency 🐝
The set’s packed with tracks that wobble, bounce, and sting, somewhere between bass, weird dub, and elastic dancehall.

fa:act’s music emerges from a fusion of wide-ranging influences, navigating freely across genres and diving deep into the many layers of bass music. His productions draw on a hybrid language where rhythmic tension and sonic elasticity play a central role. On the dancefloor, fa:act delivers club tracks that are percussive, heavy on bass, and deliberately unbound by tempo conventions. His sound pulses with a nervous energy, unfolding in unpredictable patterns that shift between intensity and restraint. It’s a fluid journey — a dynamic drift between 80 and 180 BPM — where the rules bend and basslines take the lead.
