A sneak peak! October 22nd, 2025, @apossible and movement artist @lisajamhoury invited NYC to playtest our upcoming Applied Experiment "sync : mirror"
sync : mirror is an interactive installation exploring the potential for human connection in networked, virtual space.
A preview of some of the participants reactions to the playtest:
"It felt good to see...how we might collapse and connect with each other through the screen/tech."
"First time 'beta testing' an art installation and I hope it's not my last! In many ways its the most deeply I've engaged with a piece in a long time, even if its still in flux..."
A massive thanks to @francoisenvoranger and @nikki_ortiz from @hybridmovementcompany for exploring sync : mirror with us.
Thanks for everyone else who played and participated.
Thanks to @onassis.onx for providing the space.
Thanks to @canigetawhitney for the still photography.
Thanks to @btmiclette.dp for the upcoming cinematography.
Stay tuned via apossible.com for updates and to see when the full project drops.

As a playtester, you will move and interact with this new installation, exploring choreographic possibilities and fine-tuning the experience for future public performances. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development of a new work alongside other artists, technologists, researchers, and humans curious about our embodied futures. No movement background is required.

At the start of 2025 we assisted architecture office sub @sub.global with Spatial Intelligens at the 19th Biennale Architettura. 🧠
We helped with the psychology and human-AI interface research of sub’s first-of-its kind mobile application that enables the Venice exhibition to look back. 👀
Explore your Spatial Intelligens at intelligens.labiennale.org through 23 November 2025

✨Applications for AE2025 remain open until August 14th!
Laurel Schwulst @roombaghost is not only the cocreator behind our applied experiment Ping Practice, but a brilliant mind that we could ask questions to forever.
Read her full interview at apossible.com to be inspired and apply for AE2025 until August 14th.
AE2025 is now LIVE! 🌻 Submit your Applied Experiment at apossible.com or forward it to someone that should. 👀
AE2025 is a ten-week cohort program to make an Applied Experiment: a functioning prototype of technology that enables people to exercise either care, self-control, inquisitiveness or a combination thereof.
Basically; projects that exemplify the APOSSIBLE mission and framework (see apossible.com for more on both).
Each project is allocated a budget of $7,000 (anywhere in the world) to cover time, materials, travel, external experts or whatever else is required. As long as it results in a project that others can experience (whether through installation, web or otherwise).
APOSSIBLE will also support and provide our expertise in psychology, research, documentation, marketing, positioning and other narrative elements of the project, where needed.
Submit your idea before August 15th, 2025 (we review on rolling basis).
Fulfilling AI with Misha Sra and Eugenia Kuyda @ekuyda a live conversation asking: does AI fulfill us? Or do we fulfill AI?
Back in January 2025 @apossible hosted this conversation together with @rhizomedotorg and @michaeljconnor at @grayareaorg in SF.
A few clips here, full hour on apossible.com (under partnerships).
Poster by @itsmejjjae
Edited by @mathys_ideas@rhizomedotorg and @apossible brought together Eugenia Kuyda, CEO and founder of Replika, and Misha Sra, Professor and Director of the Human-AI Integration Lab at the University of California, Santa Barbara, to ask;
How can human-AI interaction support, rather than detract from, human relationships and creativity?
